A Closer Look at Penis Thickness
Thickness of the penis has long been a conscious issue with men. From the classical stereotype that a thicker, wider penis is better, right through to the fact that women actually don't like wide penises - the debate continues to rage as to which opinion is right.
In reality, the answer may be dependent on the particular person involved. For example, one female may prefer a firm penis, while another may prefer a thick penis.
So what actually makes up the thickness of the penis, and why does the thickness change from time to time, depending on whether or not you have an erection?
The Truth about Penis Thickness
The fact of the matter is that penis thickness itself is actually a function of whether or not the tissue with the penis has blood running through it. If it does, this is referred to as an erection, and the penis will become thicker. If it doesn't, the penis will not be hard, and would therefore be thinner.
What Makes the Penis Thick?
Researchers recently discovered that penis thickness when erect is directly linked to the amount of tissue in reserve in the organ. More tissue equals thicker penis, and vice versa.
This means, if your goal is to increase the thickness of your penis, you need to work on increasing the mass of tissue which is present in the area. The following ideas could be of benefit:
- Using supplements to increased tissue mass.
- Utilizing devices such as penis pumps to force tissue mass to grow.
- Locking blood in the penis regularly to encourage penis growth.
This final point requires some clarification. It is actually a very bad thing for the penis to restrict the flow of blood to the point where there is no blood flow whatsoever (i.e. blood cannot escape from the penis). Therefore, the use of devices such as cock rings or penis base instruments should be handled with caution - as to avoid locking and too much blood which would then cut off circulation.
Successful Penis Enlargement
To measure the success of any thickness enlarging technique, you should always take the measurement from the base of the penis. This will allow you to measure changes accurately, as anywhere else along the penis might provide a fluctuating or deceptive result.
